Black Mesa Inbound is the first chapter of Half-Life.

Gameplay

No action is present in this Chapter at all, this Chapter serves as the introduction to Half-Life, with the tram announcement system giving the player a time, place, and general information about Black Mesa.

Walkthrough

Wait in the Tram for the entire ride until you reach the entrance to the Sector C Test Labs, wait for the Security Guard to let you out and let you enter the large doorway up ahead, walk through and wait for it to close to end the Chapter.

Trivia

• The Security Guard Gordon passes by during the Tram ride is retconned in Blue Shift as Barney Calhoun, who at the time was also retconned to have no Equipment until later.
• The Tram ride is roughly 3 Minutes from the beginning to the end.
• Black Mesa Inbound marks the first ever appearance of The G-Man, seen in an opposing tram.
• Black Mesa Inbound reveals Gordon's first and last name, his education, research position, and other information.
