Dr. Coomer is a Black Mesa scientist who presumably worked in Sector C, where he had a locker.

Behind the scenes[]

This scientist only appears as a name on a locker in the second chapter of Half-Life, Anomalous Materials.
Like his security guard namesake, "Coomer" is a nod to Greg Coomer, employee at Valve, placed there as an Easter egg.

Trivia[]

Dr. Coomer is made into an actual character in Half-Life but the AI is Self Aware, a fan-made improv role-playing comedy web series, where he is given the "Einstein" scientist model, and the full name of "Harold Pontiff Coomer."
