The Drillpress is a unusable device that was cut from Half-Life 2. It was to be used by Isaac Kleiner in the map d1_lab_01.
Overview[]
The Drillpress is only seen in d1_lab_01 as it was used to help make other tools in Kleiners lab. It only appears idle and has no use of being used. It is seen when Barney and Kleiner go to show Gordon his new HEV suit. Its only used in one scripted sequence when Lamar jumps onto the Drillpress then into the vents after knocking over a computer monitor. It sits right next to the pepsi machine where Gordon's suit. It appears at one point the machine was to be used by the player and have its own animations though they were likely removed or unused.
