Weapons[]

  • Ice Axe - An ice axe intended for climbing, quite self-explanatory. Faster than the crowbar, but deals less damage.
  • USP - A .45 Tactical pistol, deals slightly more damage compared to the USP Match.
  • Airboat Gun - A machine gun-like weapon that shoots pulse bullets at a fast rate. It can be detached from the Airboat itself.
  • AK-47 - Also known as CV-47. It's a well known rifle emanating from Half-Life 2 Beta, back when it was also known as the AR1.
  • Gluon Gun - A quantum destabilizer powered by depleted uranium-235. Equally as deadly at all ranges. It uses a slightly altered version of its Black Mesa model.
  • Alyx Gun - Pistol used by Alyx in Half-Life 2 and the episodes. Features three fire modes - single, automatic and burst fire.
  • Fire Extinguisher - Cut from the game, extinguishes any fire.
  • Annabelle - The shotgun used by Father Grigori in Ravenholm.
  • Emplacement Gun - Detachable emplacement gun.
  • Hand Barnacle - Identical to the Hand Barnacle in Half-Life: Opposing Force.
  • Combine Guard Gun - A handheld warp cannon, obtainable from Combine Guards.
  • Hopwire Grenade - A throwable projectile which, upon hitting the ground, will suddenly "bounce" and appear several meters in the air, shooting out multiple wires. If touched, the grenade will explode. Originally used by the Alien Assassin, who is never found throughout Half-Life 2 Overcharged.
  • Desert Eagle - Equally as powerful as the .357 revolver, identical to the Desert Eagle from Opposing Force.
  • Displacer Cannon - Fires an energy ball capable of teleporting enemies away, also features a secondary fire, which teleports the player to a random area of the map.
  • Dual Pistols - Dual wielded USP Match pistols.
  • Flare Gun - A gun that fires flares, which will set enemies from fire. Derives from Half-Life 2 Beta.
  • Glock 17 - A pistol which deals slightly more damage than the USP Match.

  • Vortex Hopwire - An unstable grenade which creates a black hole-like point which sucks in and disintegrates any entity near it.

  • Immolator - A flamethrower-like weapon which fires a green energy beam, used by Cremators.
  • XM1014 - An automatic shotgun used by some Combine Shotgunners.
  • Molotov - A bottle full of explosive liquid, featuring a rag. Upon being thrown and hitting the ground, it will spread flames.

  • Beretta 92S - Single Beretta 92FS, can be changed to burst fire mode.
  • SMG2 - A MP7 counterpart deriving from Half-Life 2 Beta. Featuers two fire modes - automatic and burst fire.

  • Laser Tripmine - Tripmines which can be attached to walls. They will explode if their sensors detect movement.
  • Tau Cannon - A mounted weapon powered detachable from the buggy.
  • Ion Rifle - A Combine ion energy rifle, obtained from the Combine Autogun in Half-Life 2 Episode 2.
  • Gauss Gun - Not to be mistaken with the Tau Cannon, as this weapon has a different model (more similar to its HL1 variant, uses the Black Mesa model), deals more damage, uses different ammo and its beam can ricochet.
  • Laser - Handheld version of the laser found in the Questionable Ethics chapter of Half-Life.
  • M249 - A heavy machine gun used by some H.E.C.U. units in Opposing Force.
  • Snarks - Hostile alien bugs typically obtained from their distinctive nests. In Overcharged, they use a polished model of their Half-Life version, but use the same sound effects.
