The Ford F-250 (truck001a as it is mentioned in texture files and simply "truk" in scripted events) is a vehicle cut from Half-Life 2. It was apparently to be used by the Citizen transportation in City 17 and probably by the resistance. The pickup is a Full sized pickup which was very popular in the United States during the 1960's and 1970's. It was to be used in the old american concept (2000-2002) of City 17, and the Wasteland where it can be seen. The truck in general similar to the GMC Vandura have shot out windows
WC Mappack[]
Existing only as brush, it can be found in several WC mappack maps:
- zombie_town: The pickup can be seen standing on the right side of the road in the between the first houses.
- sniper_029: The pickup can be seen standing 20 meters in front of the player, at one point, a Merkava blows up the pickup blocking the way for some conscripts.
- quarry_town01-03: The pickup can be seen standing in a small garage in the start of the town. The pickup is loaded with crates on the back.
- airex_start: The pickup can be seen in the gorge next to the bridge into the Air Exchange without wheels.
- cremator_street02: The truck is in the parking lot with the GMC Vandura and two Chevrolet Caprices.
- c17_01: The truck appears under a light as it sits as a brush.
