The GMC van (van001a as it is mentioned in texture files and scripted events) is a vehicle cut from Half-Life 2.
It was apparently to be used by the Citizen transportation in City 17 and maybe by Combine transportation. The GMC van is a full-sized van which was very popular in the United States during the 1970's and 1980's. It was to be used in the old american concept ( 2000-2002 ) of City 17. It is the successor to the Combine SWAT Truck being more thinner than the truck.
WC Mappack[]
Existing only as a brush, it can be found in several WC mappack maps:
- zombie_town: The van can be seen standing on the right side of the road in the between the first houses.
- sniper_029: The van can be seen standing left of the road wich then turns towards the sniper, as a static brush.
- cremator_street02: Appears in a parking lot with the Ford F-250 and two Chevrolet Caprices.
