The Roller Turret was to patrol areas as if they were to find their enemy the turret would stop partolling as it was to open a laser turret from the inside. The turret was to fire at its target similar to the Strider's warp cannon. If the enemy was to run away the turret would chase the enemy. The turrets view distance would change based if its open or closed. The turret was to fire a shot and then reload automaticly. The turret was to use the Beta Rollermines placeholders.
In the Beta's files there is a npc/roller/turret_shoot.wav was this is what remains of the Roller Turrets shooting mechanics.
