What Kind Of Hospital Is This?[]

Can anyone tell me if "What Kind Of Hospital Is This?" is a quote from Alyx? I just got there to take screenshots and I don't want to start over. Klow 01:26, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

She says it after you see the surgery room with the blood in it. Darkman 4 01:30, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
Ok thanks. Klow 12:41, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Commentary[]

Wasn't there a commentary in one of the hospital corridors where their is a Combine defense of Hopper mines, Sentry Turret and a forcefield and zombies rushing at you. Malekron 14:55, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

There was, yes. What about it? --MattyDienhoff 18:48, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Well I think someone in the commentary said that the Combine have learned a lesson from Nova Prospekt and used a bit of logic and tactics.Malekron 21:31, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Stacionar[]

"Stacionar" does not mean "Hospital" in Russian. It is a unit of a hospital where inpatients are located (I don't know the corresponding English word, sorry). The map clearly represents this. "Hospital" is generally translated into Russian as "Bolnitsa" or "Poliklinika" (the latter is for the hospitals that do not admit inpatients), the word "Gospital" being mainly reserved for military medical insitutions and the like. 194.44.31.194 17:16, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

Perhaps the word would be "ward", which normally means a section of a hospital which deals with specific injuries. Bramblepath 16:48, July 4, 2010 (UTC)
I would suggest some corrections to the article, then. The passage "It does not have a precise name, since the sign only reads "Стационар" ( "stacionar" in Latin letters), which means "Hospital" in Russian, although it is more commonly spelled "госпиталь’" ("gospital" in Latin letters)" can be chaged into "It does not have a precise name, since the sign only reads "Стационар" ( "stacionar" in Latin letters), which means "Hospital ward" in Russian". This would be both correct and short.194.44.31.194 17:18, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
Why don't you change the article yourself?... Go ahead. Klow 22:42, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
Done. I supposed editing is limited to site administrators :-) 194.44.31.194 14:16, July 8, 2010 (UTC)
That goes against the principle of a wiki. It says "...that anyone can edit" right there on the main page. :P --FiremanV2 16:50, July 8, 2010 (UTC)
Editing is limited to administrators only for a few pages. Klow 19:25, July 8, 2010 (UTC)
