Relative of the Tentacle

"The Xen Tree may be a smaller relative or the stalk of the Half-Life boss creature, the Tentacle, although it has not been confirmed."

I see no evidence to suggest this, other than an extremely vague physical similarity, and the way in which they attack (which they do for different reasons). One is a tree, the other is a giant octopus with 3 appendages.

I don't think this belongs in the trivia section, though if so then it should at least perhaps say (eg.) "Some players have suggested that..." - but I do not see the relation of Xen Trees and tentacles as probable.

It's probably not that much of an issue, but I feel that it should at least perhaps clarify it's probability or that it is an opinion deduced by fans? Sapian 10:35, September 2, 2010 (UTC)

That can be removed. It's speculation and really means nothing. Like you said, there is no evidence to suggest this and it is merely an idea that came about from seeing the vague physical similarities. Bramblepath 15:54, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
