The v35 Rocket Launcher is a unused variant of the Resistance RPG that was cut from Half-Life 2. It was to be used in the early 2002 era. The FIM-92 Stinger is the successor to the rocket launcher.
The v35 Rocket Launcher was only to be viewed or used by using the v35/v36 engine/hlmv which the Team Fortress 2 Soldier uses. The rocket launcher was to (originally) not use guided rockets but is a unused reskin of the Resistance RPG. It was to originally to be its own weapons but was unused. The scope was to also be used (like the sniper rifles scope). The Conscripts, Citizens and Gordon Freeman was to use the rocket launcher.
On July 8, 2018 project beta released the Mega Patch v.4.1 which added the sound files, animations and its own model for the gun. It however is a reskin of the resistance RPG.
